Operating precautions
Brake body
Most electromagnetic brakes use soft materials. If they are knocked, dropped, or subjected to excessive force, they may get damaged or deformed. Therefore, please pay close attention during operation.
Wires
Do not pull or bend the brake wires forcefully, or form sharp angles, or hold the wires to hang them.
Friction surface
Since this product is a dry-type brake, the friction surface must be kept dry during use. Please be careful to avoid water, oil, etc. adhering to the friction surface during operation.
Operating precautions
Environment
This brake is of dry type, so no oil, water, or other substances should be allowed to splash onto the friction surface. Otherwise, the torque will decrease. When there is a possibility of splashing oil, water, dust, etc., please install a protective cover.
Operating environment temperature
Operating environment temperature: The brake part is -10℃ to 40℃, and the dedicated controller part is -20℃ to 60℃. If you want to use it outside this range, please contact our company.
Voltage variation of power supply
Extreme voltage variation of the power supply may not meet the performance requirements of the brake. Therefore, please control it within the range of the rated voltage ±110%.
Gap adjustment
For the BXR type, there is no need for gap adjustment. The gap of the brake has been adjusted when it is manufactured.
Protection unit
Because it is encapsulated in the dedicated controller, please do not connect it.
Control of the controller
The control function is achieved through the ON/OFF on the input side. Therefore, please switch it on the input side of the dedicated controller. Axis
The tolerance of the shaft should be set at grade h7. If the pressed-in type rotor hub part of the accessory is used, please consider the pressing-in tolerance.
The accuracy of the brake installation surface
The coaxiality (X) between the coupling and the shaft, and the straightness (Y) of the brake installation surface and the shaft should not exceed the allowable values as shown in the following table.
